The programme lasts for three years, starting from Jan 2007. The programme supports national innovation and knowledge generation in information society technologies.
Windhoek, Namibia
The feasibility study gathers information on Windhoek's innovation society and development system, the development potential of competencies, core organisations and the potential for science and technology park/business innovation centre operations.
Moscow, Russia
A team of researchers performed a practical survey of the Moscow Innovation and ICT-hub concept for Finnish and Russian companies. The work was provisioned by Uusimaa Regional Council.
Finland
The Aikagroup advisory team prepared a financial package for a significant data security company in establishing a 24/7 Tier 4 Security Operations Center in an old paper mill in Finland.
Vietnam
As part of the winning consortium, prepared proposal for the Innovation Partnership Program in a consortium formed by Technopolis, Innovation Management Institute (IMI) of Helsinki University of Technology (HUT) and Ramboll. The program collaboration aims at achieving successful commercial applications through joint participation of institutions, enterprises and organizations in Vietnam, Finland and in third countries with exchange of scientists, seminars and training, and through the diffusion of relevant knowledge.
Ghana and Senegal
Master planning workshops for the science park initiatives in Ghana and Senegal, 2008-2010 Commissioned by United Nations, Aikagroup team has analysed S&T park prerequisites in the most advanced West African Nations and produced tailor road map projects and made training camps to help to formulate the Science Parks.
