Mr. Otlaathusa Resego Ramasimong is a research student from University of Botswana studying Masters of Science in Computer Information System. He holds a bachelor`s degree from University of Botswana majoring in Computer Science. University of Botswana offers a convenient learning environment that encourages students lecture collaboration and Mr Ramasimong has taken advantage of this phenomenon to extend his learning beyond lecture theatre. Mr Ramasimong has worked with lecturers in a few projects, the most recent of which is the development of Computer Science Society of Botswana website. Mr Ramasimong is a professional member of Computer Science Society of Botswana and he is engaged in a research group founded by Dr A Masizana.

During his academic study, Mr Ramasimong has worked with his colleagues to develop some simulation projects using Java. The most recent simulation developed was that of an ATM system.

Mr Ramasimong has a solid background in object-oriented software development techniques.  He has also developed some websites for organisations as well as individual clients.  In terms of database development, he is proficient in Ms Access, My SQL and Oracle.  With regards to software proficiency, he is fluent in CS3, IBM Rational Rose, NetBeans, JGrasp (editors & compilers) and Visio.
